ABOUT US

LexFUN!, Lexington's Five and Under Network, was formed in 1942.  We are a local unit of the Massachusetts branch of the National Congress of Parents and Teachers.  We are not affiliated with any public or private school.  Our purpose is to offer social, educational, and recreational opportunities to families with young children [birth through age five].  Annual dues are $25 and membership is open to anyone in Lexington and surrounding communities.  Notices of our upcoming activities are posted around town, on our website www. lexfun.org, and published in our monthly newsletter and local newspapers.

LexFUN! maintains continued communication with the Lexington Public Schools, the local preschools, other Lexington PTAs [through the PTA Council], the Lexington Early Education Committee and Cary Memorial Library Children's Room staff on interests to young children and their parents.

LexFUN! was formerly known as the LPPTA.  Our new name was introduced in June 2009.
