In this workshop you will learn how to recognize and respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in infants and children. Presented by Ayla Kavanagh. Ms. Kavanagh has been teaching CPR/First Aid for over ten years, as an authorized provider, for the American Red Cross. She is a Lexington mom of two children. Ms. Kavanagh has been in the fitness field for over 15 years and is currently an instructor at Summit Health + Fitness in Bedford. Space is limited to 12 participants. Lexington mom, Joy McCallum will share her philosophy and tips for eating healthy from her career as a nutritional counselor as well as her practical mom advice. She will give you her simple recipe for raising health eaters. Discussions will focus on what ‘normal eating’ is for children and adults as well a guidance for feeding ‘picky eaters’. This seminar will provide the ingredients for a lifetime of healthy eating habits for your family.
Presented by Joy McCallum, MS, RD, LDN. Ms. McCallum received her MS in nutrition from Boston University and completed her dietetic internship at Boston Medical Center.
