Join local families every Friday morning outdoors at Lincoln Playground. Come and leave when you want and have fun socializing with other caregivers and young toddlers.

Come create miniature figurines and sculptures. A soft, easy to use, and fun medium, Model Magic is a non-toxic, air-dry clay. It is lightweight and colorful and dries within 24 hours for a hard finish. 

There are 5 sessions for Kindergarten-3^rd grade students and will be held April 6th, 13th, 27th, May 4th, 11th from 1-2:30.  Sessions include a snack and all the materials for $250. 

Leng has been teaching enrichment classes since 2009. She is a mom of two and has her masters in moderate disabilities PreK-8.  If you have any questions you can contact Leng Diamond directly at (781)354-8864.

Join this comics workshop that will have you quickly filling panels with narration and imagery that will let your imagination come to life! The workshop begins with a brief conversation about the unique mechanics of how comics can tell stories. We’ll explore how to come up with a storyline, develop a character, and discuss other topics related to writing and drawing comics. Then we do some simple doodle exercises to generate ideas. Next we experiment with some inspiring comic formats to tell our own stories and share if we feel comfortable doing so.

Kids may be dropped off for this event, caregivers are welcome to stay

Class is best for age 7 and up, however, younger children are welcome to sign up with caregiver.

Cara Bean is the author of Here I Am, I Am Me: An Illustrated Guide to Mental Health and Draw 500 Funny Faces and Features.

She provides interactive workshops on creativity with people of all ages and backgrounds in various public forums. Cara is passionate about drawing and believes that the simple act of doodling on paper can lead to the investigation of complex ideas.

When she is not teaching, she makes comics that delve into poetic self introspection, playful storytelling and topics relevant to teens and teaching. Cara is currently working on comics projects that speak directly to kids and address mental health.

Cara lives in Massachusetts with her husband and their dog Raisin.

DB Studios is kicking off Storytime Steps!

In Storytime Steps, children embark on an imaginative journey where stories come to life through movement. Each session features captivating tales and picture books carefully selected to spark the children's imagination. Through guided activities, dance, and creative play, young participants actively engage with the characters and themes from the stories.

The program not only cultivates a love for reading but also encourages physical expression, coordination, and creativity. As the children embody characters, act out scenes, and explore movements inspired by the narratives, they develop motor skills, enhance their cognitive abilities, and foster social interaction in a playful and supportive environment.

Storytime Steps is a delightful fusion of literacy and movement, igniting the imagination and nurturing a holistic learning experience for young learners, setting the stage for a lifelong appreciation of both literature and the joy of movement.

The class is best for those ages 3 - 6 and will be held on the first Friday of the month at 2:00 pm at Lexington Community Center in room #242

Kindergarten is an amazingly exciting time, and with a little preparation it doesn't have to be an overwhelming transition for you or your preschooler.

This will be a virtual Q&A event with parents of current kindergarteners. All 6 Lexington elementary schools will be represented and current kindergarten parents will share insights specific to your school.

Join LexFUN!’s private party at Learning Express Play!  Downtown Play has something for every child, making it a great place for children from infants to elementary school kiddos! Our space has numerous pretend playrooms, including our General Store, Yummies Diner, and Veterinary Clinic. With our many costume departments, everyone can get into character as they experience Downtown Play!

Our Cozy Corner is great for children just beginning to crawl and is fully stocked with age-appropriate toys. Our custom-made train table is sure to draw the attention of the budding conductors in your life! Our athletics gym, equipped with obstacle course building materials, gymnastics bars, trampoline, and age-appropriate rock-climbing wall is the perfect place for the active child to run and jump!
