We would like to give kids and their parents an opportunity to cook together. Not struggling with planning, groceries shopping or adding an educational element to some fun time.
We have teamed up with Kids Cooking Green and offer hands-on cooking programs for children. Your kids will learn cooking skills, along with valuable lessons in health, nutrition, the environment, and the benefits of local food and farming.
What to expect:
At each class we will cook, eat lunch together and build a community around a shared kitchen table! There will be lunch served for both kids and adults.
In conclusion, for only $40 a kid and a parent get 2h of structure fun and a delicious lunch served. And because it’s held at CNS there will be time for some fun play too.
Age eligibility and Additional Information:
Kids age 3+ years that either enjoy cooking or would benefit from getting closer to the cooking action.
We are delighted to include older siblings, up to age 7, for an additional charge of $5/session. Siblings under age 2 years 9 months are welcome free of charge.
This is a parent-involved event. The parent and child will cook together under the guidance of the host. The parents are responsible for the kid’s safety around knives and the fire.
IMPORTANT: The $40/class includes one parent and one child.
