Kindergarten Connection: Easing the Transition

LexFUN has a long-standing tradition of supporting parents and their children through the transition into kindergarten. Through small group meetups, an online parent forum and an all-school playdate, we will connect you and your child to other families who will be in kindergarten at YOUR Lexington elementary school before school actually starts! This program is a tried and true way to ease the transition to kindergarten.

Open to All, Members and Non-Members - Invite your friends and neighbors!

You are welcome to attend any of the events below, you and your child will meet new friends and benefit from the following:

LexFUN! Kindergarten Connection Forum: What Every Parent Wants to Know!

• Learn about the exciting world of kindergarten (virtually) on May 13, 2025 at 8pm

• Register here for the online parent forum

• An evening of Q&A with parents of current kindergarteners

• All 6 elementary schools will be represented and current kindergarten parents will share insights specific to your school

LexFUN! Kindergarten Connection Small Group Meetup!

• Attend a playdate with a few other families from your school before kindergarten begins! Receive contact info of the other families at your elementary school enrolled in Kindergarten Connection.

• Playdates will take place during May and June 2025.

• Sign up here by May 1, 2025

LexFUN! Kindergarten All-School Playdate!

• Attend a playground playdate on August 24, 2025, 10:00-11:15 am

• Play with your future classmates - color coded name tags will help you find friends in your new class. 

• Give your incoming kindergartener a helping hand and maybe make a few new friends yourself!

LexFUN! membership is not required to participate, everyone is welcome!
